The Asia-Pacific Marketing Academy Annual Conference (APMA 2025) took place at Shenzhen University (Lihu Campus) on 24–25 May 2025. The conference continued its international focus by requiring submissions and presentations in English. Keynote speakers included Prof. Juan LI (City University of Hong Kong), Professor Andrew CHING (Johns Hopkins University), and other distinguished scholars.


APMA 2025 Opening Ceremony (Shenzhen, China)


APMA 2025 Conference retained signature features, including the High-Quality Research Paper Workshop and Marketing Academic Job Market Forum, and introduced three new initiatives. First, the National High‑Level Projects Forum. This session invited principal investigators holding key projects funded by the NSFC and the NSSFC to share their application experience and practical insights. This conference invited principal investigators including Prof. Xinyue ZHOU (Zhejiang University), Prof. Fu’e ZENG (Wuhan University), Prof. Ji WU (Sun Yat‑sen University), Prof. Chengli SHU (Xi’an Jiaotong University), Prof. Xiaoling LI (Chongqing University), and Prof. Jianming WANG (Zhejiang University of Finance & Economics). Second, Editorial Board Face‑to‑Face. Three dedicated sessions brought editors‑in‑chief from leading journals — Journal of Marketing, Management Science, and Journal of Consumer Research — into direct dialogue with authors, offering insights into the review process and practical guidance on manuscript development and publication strategies. Third, Marketing Parallel Sessions. This conference organized parallel forums to present cutting‑edge marketing research, including emerging research methods, marketing technologies, consumer behavior insights, tourism and leisure marketing, case study research, and neuromarketing. These sessions attracted scholars from mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR, Singapore, Australia, and other regions.
